mixing tank usage

mixing tank is a stainless steel tank design for food or beverage or chemical product, with mixing device.

usually, you can see milk mixing tank , water mixing tank, cream mixing tank as well as shampoo mixing tank in factories around us.

mixing tank capacity

mixing tank can be designed with different capacity, such as small mixing tank :

200L mixing tank / 500L mixing tank / 1000L miixng tank

or you can say a 50gallom mixing tank, 100 gallon mixing tank or a 150 gallon 200gallon mixing tank

mixing tank structure

mixing tank can be with different shape or structure according to defferent reqeust for some certain product.

such as for milk, a milk mixing tank usually need with conical bottom, and hinged lid on the top, lso, the motor will be mounted on a flange in the middle of the mixing tank.

slope bottom mixing tank

slope bottom mixing tank used to milk, juice or any other liquid product. mixture drainaged or discharged from the conical bottom.

some time conical bottom mixing tank will comes with adjustable legs.

you can see the hinged lid or hinged cover on the top of the mixing tank.

soem time mixing tank will have a manhole on the top rather than the hinged lid or hinged cover.

in the above picture you can see, the mixing tank is with a sealed top and a manole or manway fixed on the top beside the mixing motor.

in some production, such as juice producion, yogurt production, or cream production, manufacture will need an ellipsoidal head and enclosed bottom

for the tank, as the following picture shown

and heat can bear heigh pressure such as 0.5Mpa or 0.7Mpa as needed.

on the top of the tank, we can add a sight glass to allowed you see the inner side of the tank when machine working.

heating mixing tank / mixing tank with heating function

in production, mixing tanks sometime need to designed with heating and cooling.

steam heating type tank is usually called cooling and heating tank, or cold and heat tank.

but some time, if we do not have steam resource, or we do not need to heat the mixture in the mixing tank to a high temperature, an electric heating type mixing tank is better.

you can see, there are some electric heating elements at the bottom of the mixing tank. this tank above is with slope bottom. we call it slope bottom mixing tank. or heating mixing tank.

some time, we want the tank with temperature control. so

mixing tank with temperature control was designed accordingly.

not only mixing tank need temperature control, but heating mixing tank will need also a timer to control the heating time. especially in milk or yogurt production. milk pasteurizer, especially batch type pasteurizer, digital temperature control, and timer are very important things.

heating tank usually use dimple jacket as the place of heat exchange. the above picture is the picture of a mixing tank dimple plate. and you can see some other picture of the dimple jacket used in mixing tank or milk mixing tank.

is very good for steam heating tank.

in order to make sure the safety of the heating mixing tank operator, we usually add a temperature insulation layer to the tank.

so when operator touch the surfact of the mixing tank, he will not got hurt.

mixing tank some time designed with high leg. we call this kind of mixing tank as high level tank or gravity tank. as the above picture shown, it is a high level mixing ank.

some time customer as double motion mixing tank for cream, or paste. we can desing this accordingly.

mixing speed can be 36rpm, 60rpm, 100rpm, 960rpm or 280rpm
